Zuchu is a gem in the East African music and her addition into continental sound is undeniable. Her allure in the current East African music industry goes far and beyond. Zuchu’s bongo and taarab vibes is what makes her unique and grounds her contemporary authentic sound in the current music scene.
Here are our top three of Zuchu’s Allure.
Zuchu Unplugged | “Nobody”
Zuchu’s voice is so tender and meticulous full and rich of taarab intonations comfortably executed on the back of romantic lyrics and high pitched voice. In the live performance of |“NOBODY” at Zuchu Unplugged made us realize how powerful Zuchu’s vocals range is.
All these she manages to do effortlessly. The emotion in her voice is a thing of beauty and even the critics will bow at how perfect she manages to deliver a compelling performance.
Zuchu Unplugged | "Number One"
Zuchu’s voice is preternatural because the way she manages to execute a high vocal ranges with pure ease would fascinate anyone.
This version of Number One in which she was originally featured by Tanzania's acclaimed crooner Rayvanny, really had Zuchu’s proving her vocal prowess.
The whole arrangement and setup from sound engineers to set designers did an outstanding work. I love how she owns it and delivers a fulfilling performance.
Zuchu Unplugged | “Litawachoma”
Zuchu is a pure classic perfomer. Once again her vocal and tone range didn’t disappoint. The beauty is in the mastery of her technique in the execution of the vocals.
Her touch of taarab in her music is orgasmic and so authentic. Pure goose bumps listening to this.
