Pioneering Sol Generation artist Bensoul has lightened up our moods with new release "Niombee" of the album "1919 to Forever" by KLM Kenya in partnership with Sol Generation Records.
Bensoul is on a mission to make life in the city and starts off asking for blessings from the parents as he steps out to head to the city. He consequently advises the brother and sister to work hard before heading for the city.
At the center of it, he advises that whatever you need as long as you work hard for it you shall get it and the only thing you ought not to forget is to pray. Put your faith in God.
The song has a similar vibe to Nigerian "Pray for me" by Darey who seeks to make a life in the city and seeks blessing for the parents.
The song kicks off with inspiring lyrics surrounding the idea of seeking blessings from others and encouraging one not to forget to pray but even so while they pray let them not forget to pray others too.
Basically, it is about praying for oneself and others and casting all your burdens to God, for as you work hard on your craft God will for sure bless the work of your hands.
Praying for oneself and others stem out on the emphasis in the chorus that goes "Niombee nikuombeee kwani mahombi yangu pekee hayawezi"
