Mentored by Afro pop Scene giants like Burna Boy, Buju ingeniuosly crafts delicate and precise tracks leaning on his wispy hypnotizing vocal approach. He anchors on his creative loops and lyrics to deliver tracks we can't help but keep on repeat.
Buju has truly come off age since we initially fell in love with the Afropop crooner. The artist finally puts together a debut Ep dubbed "Sorry Am Late." The 7 song project is simply a collection of soul fulfilling syncopated rhythms drawing from the new found afrofusion styles of the continent.

The Track title Daniel Benson kicks off the journey through this mind blowing ep with a melodious delivery that gives you that nostalgic feeling and simultenously makes you move your body with some comforting sweat free Micheal Jackson suave. tell you the truth this is the type of song you want to wake up to anyday.

Buju is clearly a fast rising star climibing the ladder of prosperity and is not joking bringin in the heat track after track. In is second installment, "Never Stopped" the crooner perfects what we music lovers have come to adore and crave, the burna muse.
The burna muse combines ideal Fela Kuti multi instrumentalism and burna boy edgy charismatic voice double down on the beat. Listening to Buju's Never Stopped reveals a star who clearly draws a lot of his magical craft from a burna inspiration.

Kilometer the third track of this transofmational generational sound by Buju, will stir up a fire inside you for sure. Think of this song as a charging sound and embrace its fast paced execution and see if you wont be inspired be it on you daily grind or on that driving journey. This particular rhythm combines the resounding tom tom beats with the inductive Amapiano starters.

Something Sweet is a professing love song that promises to treat a woman in a tender and caring way. This song romanticises an ideal contemporary relationship only found in your favorite songs and sounds. So dedicate it to you loved ones any chance you get.

In the only collaboration track from the EP, "Sorry am Late" Buju teams up with the Cavemen for a culturlally fused Ogechukwu. The song fuses strong falsetto intonations with west african shakers beats and tom toms to churn a melodius execution that seeks for the sublime. The track juxtaposes the ethereal calmness of Buju wispy voice with the ocmmmanding presence of melodius bass from the Cavemen.

For Here is the sixth track single off the Ep and brings you authentic afropop sensational vibes with slight touches of the arresting amapiano dribbles. He attempts to fuse rhythms that alsmost feel spiritual despite drifting across tempos with a variety of drum patterns and the elctrifying amapiano dribbles
I'll be your Romeo
I do is the last track in this particular project and the crooner fuses old school rap with contemporary artistic delivery. Buju delivers with clarity and simplicity in his lyrics.
Buju has manged to creatively fuse multiple Afro centric rhythms and contain them in his wispy compelling vocals all through. In this EP Sorry am Late, Buju has managed to carefully craft a through line for his sound despite the drifts and infusion of the various rhythmic variations. Buju delivers his lyrics with clarity and simplicty leaning on his powerful voice as a synthesizer.
