Ethan Muziki is not new to the music scene, earlier on in his career he was signed to Kaka Empire's boy band group Jadi where he did a two year stint. He left the boy band at the height of COVID-19 Pandemic to focus on his solo music career. However, during the period the crooner still managed to deliver meandering grooves pairing up with various musical acts on and off the stage. In 2021, he graced us with a collaborative release with Watendawili for the riveting project Love Language. The rhythm and Blue benga styled artist has always churned out a visual thinking that stems from his clever manipulation of sound shapes and loosely drifting across various experimental melodic baselines.
The Album Ethanal Fire brings along the atmosphere of love straight on from the onset juggling between a euphoric feeling and unpredictable, effortless shifts into the dance floor. The track |"Fresh" welcome you to the ideal Afro Utopian space with exciting rhythmic and incisive style. For a moment there you will wonder if Ethan is more than just an Rhythm and Blues artist. Correctly so, his style breaks through different genres. But if you are a fan of Kenya's popular Benga style like Sauti Sol, Bensoul, or Nviiri the Story Teller then you are pretty much prepared for the easy float in his music. Ethan has a penchant to purposefully search through melodies and in an original imaginative way improvising a sense of play. His lithe singing voice lures you in to the closed stacked vocal harmonies of the lead single |"Kesho Kutwa" accompanied by powerful and attractive background vocals in choir fashion.
