Its been a while since we had some fire packed Gospel Jams coming our way and sure as heaven, Moji Shortbaba returned us to a heart of praise with an intentional collection of street gospel.
Moji delivers his most interesting body of work yet while indulging us in a humorous, smile ready dance jams and bringing in the heat with heavy drum patterns. Moji clearly stays in touch with the realities of life and feeds on both the positive and negative energies of life on the back of the challenges facing the gospel industry today.

With little separation between musical elements Moji cleverly delivers a fast paced rhythmic flow and energy with hardly any gaps on the flow. The song is produced by legendary gospel beat maker Saint P.

Moji Shortbaba is becoming quite a trendsetter with this project and goes ahead to claim a space for Gospel music on the airwaves with the track | Cheza Gospel. The gladdening jam produced by Ayo Sevil kicks off with a call to action to play gospel and bring healing and uplift people.
The only collaboration in the EP enlists legendary Kleptomaniax artist Collo dubbed | Mo Faya. The dancehall styled track builds on the idea of a healing fire that cannot be quelled.
Moji has a distinctive approach to his street gospel style and clear translates biblical verses and gospel narratives to the ordinary day to day lives we live. What makes him truly standout is his acute ability to reflect on life challenges in succinct lyrical expression. CHEZA GOSPEL EP could very well be the wake up call to the return of fire gospel praise and contemporary dance that keep us vibrating while effectively ministering the gospel to the hearts of men.
