Oct. 15 2015 perhaps slightly over four years ago, Venessa Darled our hearts with a romantic jive and sound that just gives you a smile for no particular reason. She released her single" Never Ever" and we've been putting it on replay ever since "never ever" letting it slide out of our playlists.
So now she has gone ahead to re-imagine it and we are just over here feeling nostalgic. Wueh! the memories this song gives me just make me want to call back someone. But that aside from the song which by the way made me believe in love again. Yeah Love that kind of love that is poetic, "the light and shadow thing" and so on. The single exposed us to not just a sentimental Vee Money, Venessa Mdee, but one that was on a mission to make the world a happy place.
Trust me just listen to the song below and tell me if you won't find yourself reminiscing or just smiling for no reason (ok don't count the fact that Vee Money is killing it).
Furthermore what steals our hearts and re-affirming our oath as #VeeMoney fans to never let go of her is the re-imagination of the song "Never Ever" which made us fall in love with her all over again. She enlists Frederic Gassita and the London Symphony Orchestra to kick it off with a soft smoother tune and builds it up with a strong symphony backing. She takes our emotions just high enough and keeps us on that cloud right there.
