Wahu's comeback in the music as a Gospel Artist is top-notch blessing:

About 2 years ago when Wahu debut her Gospel music career with the release of "Sifa" we all perhaps thought it was just one of those transition things that many artists do when they shift from secular to the gospel. However, Wahu had a different angle and this is perhaps because she has often been focused on ministering to the hearts of men as opposed to singing just gospel.

An important aspect that seems to fuel her music and make her gospel more impactful is perhaps because she draws from her own life experiences. For instance, when releasing the song "SIFA" she mentioned that she wrote the song while she was going through a really low point in her life. In her own words she points out that " I could have poured out my pain into an emotional song, which would have been perfectly ok, but I didn’t. Instead and to encourage myself, I turned to my Heavenly Father, asking Him for a way out of my darkness."

For many, like myself, we see Gospel music as a source of inspiration not just to praise God but to relate with him in every way (through our life experiences and in essence to commune with God when we don't know how to pray). There are varied opinions as to what amounts to gospel music and what can simply remain to be a carol for your holy days. However, thats debate for another season and another forum.

Drawing on Wahu's story you can easily see why it is easy for people to relate with her music as Gospel (not as an industry but as a ministry). IN her YouTube Bio for the release of "SIFA" she writes and quotes a few scriptures [ “In everything give thanks” (Thessalonians 5:18); “The thief comes to kill still and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life in abundance” (John 10:10) and that there is power and victory in praise... ]

Quickly it is easy to see why she choose to Praise God in the song "SIFA" and for us here at KoraBlend "Sifa" is just another reason for us to Give God Praise.

The song was performed by Wahu and produced by Cedo Check it out below:

Slowly and surely a year later she blessed us with yet another Gospel inspiration when she released the song "My Everything" which as we all know was inspired by a true story. The song was produced by producer Teddy B. The song was written and conceptualized by Pitson Pen & Paper and Wahu.

On the YouTube Bio, she takes a moment to inspire us yet again To pray:

[ God hears us, even when we don’t think He does. He is no respecter of persons, personalities or positions. All He requires is an honest heart that seeks His face fervently. Sometimes, God doesn’t answer our prayers the way we expect, sometimes He does. But it is amazing to rest in the knowledge that all things work together for good for those who love the Lord. Make Him Your Everything, and you will be awed at how much He has in store for you! ]
