2021has been a really busy year in Africa’s music scene and the East Africa’s music has really taken a new shape. Most artists have tried insycopating few more African rhythms and its paying.
More artists come together to make good music and I’m impressed yet the year has not yet come to the end. My best East African collaboz are so far;
1. Harmonize Ft. Angela “All Night”
Harmonize this year has been a busy year for him. “All night” is a collabo that I consider an international music hit by now.
The fact that “Konde Boy” went out from his comfort zone of Swahili language and tried a foreign language and still manage to execute as he hid I was so impressed.
This jam brings in some electronic fused dance rhythms and maintains the chilled aura of traditional bongo flava sounds.
What a Beauty to listen to this piece.
Mbosso Ft. Zuchu “For your love”
Bongo artists are word smiths when it comes to Swahili poetry and as it has been critically acclaimed Mbosso is a top favorite when it comes to popular "Ushairi". Mbosso features Zuchu in a collaboration by Bongo Flava's top powerful vocal artists to come up with a new track dubbed “For your love” is pure work of art.
The technique in the execution is what I’m marveling to this time. It’s been a while since we had such a chilled out Swahili love song vibe.
Darassa ft Marioo & Nandy - Loyalty
Sensational self styled Bongo flava rap artist Darassa enlists new age Marioo and the resounding songstress Nandy.
In this jam the trio pair up on a trail of love being about respect to compell a fantasy filled laid back idea of that perfect pace of love.
the song is definately worth your muse and we keeping it on repeat.
